Diet and exercise can help this. However, you may want to see your Dr. to talk about depression etc. I remember being very tired as a young mom and diet and exercise helped a bunch.

Exercise. I know it doesn't sound right, but working out gives you more energy. Morning is the best, before you go to work. If not, evening is good too. Take your two year old for a walk or bike ride. You might also be low on Iron, that could also make you tired. Check with your doctor if that is the case.

You might wanna try adding more protein to your diet and exercising just like 30 minutes a day a do wonders for your energy level. If you like energy drinks, try Vault Zero. Its a good pick me up and you don't have to worry about the calories. Just watch out don't depend on energy drinks alone. You'll end up having an "energy crash". You may also wanna look into a multivitamin like One a Day Women's or Centruim (sp).
First and foremost, you might wanna go to your general practitioner and just run a simple bloodtest to make sure all your levels are appropriate and you don't have like the early stages of cancer or something. Better safe than sorry.

The best advice? GO TO A DOCTOR. It could be ANYTHING. But if your little girl/boy is suffering because of it, you have a responsibility to get to the bottom of it.
And, some people just need more sleep than others. I WAKE UP at 7am, and if I don't get to bed by 11, I am completely useless the next day.

you need at least 8 hours sleep on a regular basis some need more.
you don't get enough.
and a two year old too
geez most would be dragging and depressed or stressed too.
sleep is essential with a small child and a job and more..
also are you eating right ?
have you had a recent check-up?
take better care get some support if you need it and you'll feel much better in the long run.

That could be the sign of illness, has it been going on for a while?
You might want to talk to your doctor, and also check for depression. Are you getting enough vitamins in your diet? How are you eating? How are you sleeping? Do you have a comfortable bed? Are you having dreams that are waking you? Sleep apnea? There are lots of questions, and I think your doctor is a good place to start.

Get moving, it sounds silly, but the more you move the more energy your body will produce. If you are already exercising regularly, I would consult your doctor there could be a metabolic problem. Depression can also effect your energy, exercise and even something as simple as getting more sun can help with that. Make sure you are getting enough B vitamins too.

Try taking some vitamin c, and also exercising before you go to work, even though you may feel tired right after you finish, you will overall have more stamina and energy throughout the day.

Sounds like you may have too many things on your plate. You have a full time job and a two year old on top of it. I don't know if you are a single mom, but this sounds like you may be overstreatching yourself. It's easy for me to say, but could you possibly cut down on the number of hours you work?
