i've checked the fuel pump and it is working so i dont know what else it could be

Sometimes my 2001 Grand Am does that. It has to do with the Security System. Turn the key to ACC the Security light will start blinking and will continue to do so for 10 minutes. At that time the Security Light will stay on. At that point you can start you car. This works for me Good Luck.

It has a chip inside of the key for the ignition,but not one for the door.But the door key fits in the ingnition and turns it over but it just won't start.Make sure that you have the right key

If you have fuel all you need is spark so I would check that next. If it is the alarm it will kill off one of the the two and sometimes both.
