Christians believe that re-birth is a spiritual rebirth where your belief in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ results in your sinful nature "dying" and your spirit being "reborn" or taking on new and eternal life through Christ.

Only the diety (Christ) can bring someone back to life...at whim (eg - Lazarus)

The diety can also self-reincarnate, but then must return to the spiritual home (as after Jesus's death)
