Ratio problems! Grrr!?

Question

Does ne1 kno wot a ratio of 1:0 means? Im thinking it means 1 of one thing equals none of the other but that doesn't make sense in the context of my biology h/w- the ratio of final mean cell volume to the original mean cell volume is 1:0 but that means one of the final cells equals none of the original ones but theyre the same cell so how could the final one have appeared out of nowhere? OR does it mean that theyre jsut the same? Say YES! lol
