of the engagement ring or wedding ring? I hear that most women want just what is special and has meaning to her or shows how much the man cares for her. However I hear women discuss how much their rings cost or how large and the grades of the clarity, and bad talk other women who have a smaller one? Whats the catch? Apparently it matters where the diamond comes from too, I wouldnt go "cracker Jack" but you always see the movies where he gives the girl a key ring or foil ring and she's in tears and thinks it's the sweetest thing. I know she wants that diamond though...right?

I am not married, but in my humble opinion, two months salary is about right when you are putting a ring on a woman's finger, because it is supposed to stay there for LIFE, however, in all practicality I would prefer a smaller ring with a high quality man giving it to me than an enormous high quality rock from a low quality guy.

Well I told my guy to not worry so much about the wedding ring (if we got married) and spend the money on a vehicle for me!
I could have a 200 wedding ring and it wouldnt matter, you can lie and say it was 5000!
Waste the money on something useful, like a house down payment or car or suv or baby stuff, really a 10,000 ring is kinda useless!
And Im a girl!

Heck yeah size matters----in everything!! Just kidding but I think that 1/2 carat or above is a good size. And just for the record.....in reality women like mushy movies but REAL rings, not a key ring or foil ring!

Size didnt matter to me but of course my husband gave me the most beautiful ring I could ever wish for.

to me the size, carats, don't matter as long as he shows me he loves me and we are happy that all that counts.....
but then again I'm not ready to get married because to me that piece of paper ruins your relationship cause then the man feels like your his property.......
