do I need to get a referrel from one attorney to get a divorce, how do I get a divorce lawyer, can any one help me??

I would first ask any friends or family members who may have gotten a divorce to refer you to an attorney. If by chance you don't know any one then you should have a sit down with a few. usually they will give you one free visit to find if you can work together. Take your time especially if there is either money or children involved.

On the yahoo search engine under the local tab type divorce attorney and your zip code. Yahoo will find you an attorney for your divorce.

Its best to get a referral from a couple of attorneys. They are usually free, and they will give tell you a basic estimate on what it will cost to retain them, and court cost. As to getting a lawyer, ask around from friends or relatives.
