Why are we so concerned about feeding African children when our own are starving?

Why did Brad and Jolie adopt an African kid? Why did Madonna? When there are plenty of kids here in the United States that need a good home, and a good square meal in there tummies.

Why? The celebs think they're being humanitarian AND have the money to do so. They don't consider starving and homeless kids here in the US. What kind of fame would that bring them?

And I do have to especially rag on Madonna. She was born in Michigan and now thinks she's British! Whatever.

There are so many couples in America who can't conceive and would love to adopt, but the waiting lines are long and expensive. I know, it doesn't make any sense.
