This is a last resort because if I dont make it in writing then I am doomed to mediocrity - I can't stand it ! I have alot of education but have only gotten crappy jobs with it except an overseas job teaching english to koreans. It was mentioned to me to submit articles to readers Digest and I thought about this years ago. I am getting my appetite wet since a major media organization expressed interest in a story of mine and asked for my phone number. I need to do more though - I want to achieve greatness and some money. I am not using my fifty thousand dollars worth of university degrees in the plastics factory I work in right now. I am sick of selling myself short. Anyone with ideas of where I can go please tell me.

I would look to "target audiences", that is if you write an article on food and/or cooking submit them to something like "Food for Fun" magazine, and not "Popular Mechanics".

The outlets for short stories/ articles are as varied as topics, from airline (travel anecdotes) to mainstream (feature articles) magazines, to local and neighborhood newspapers (humorous/ cooking), and Sunday supplements (unlimited potential).

In addition, when you join, you get an automated novel writer as well as an automatic idea generator and automatic post writer so is extremely hard not to do this job.
