I have always had a keen interest in the Edwardians (1900- 1914) and think it must have been a great time to live in. Just imagine all the great inventions like electricity, the telephone and the automobile that had started to come in use, just enough to make life comfortable. I also like the literature from this era; like "The Secret Garden" by Dodi Smith and "The Wind In The Willows" by Kenneth Graham. It's full of magic and mystery that were later lost. People believed in Spirits and faeries and the ways of the land. The Edwardians were much more liberal than the strict Victorians and they enjoyed luxury living as it never would be enjoyed again. You could get quality and craftsmanship and no one worried about nuclear treat or terrorism. Britain was still an empire. I'd gladly step a hundred year's back in time.

While Jesus was on earth and would love to be on the side of those who believed Him. Mostly would have loved to be Mary or Martha, to have Jesus feel my pain so much that He wept.
