Did you have unprotected sex? Stress can make you delay your period.

Stress can make you late. Sometimes the symptoms of pregnancy are similar to the symptoms you get right before your period (especially sore breast). If you are only 3 days late and you have irregular periods then I think you shouldn't stress about it. But if you are sexually active, you could be pregnant. Always use protection so you don't have to go through this every time you're irregular. How old are you? You should be able to buy a home pregnancy test for 10-15 dollars at any Wal-Mart or pharmacy or grocery store.

There's nothing worse than worrying about being pregnant. Tons of people know how you feel. It's not uncommon to have an irregular cycle, especially when you are young, but you should still try to find out if you are pregnant soon. You can easily get a test--at the grocery store, some gas stations, online, which should quell some of your fears. If you are pregnant, or you're not sure, you should try to find out as soon as possible and then act fast. It's important to get early care if you choose to have a baby, and easier to make other choices early on too. You can go to Planned Parenthood, where they are nice to you, don't cost much, and present all your opinions. Look online--sometimes they can even provide rides, etc. Of course, it's best if you can get a good friend, family member, or other experienced person to help you. Good luck.
