i am wondering how big of a processor my hp xt923 will support.On the hp website they list how big of processor most of their compyters will support,but not the xt923.I am fixing to replace the cpu with the fastest one i can get.please help me.

Yes,i know what the specs on my cpu are but i need to know what is the processor limit.I.E. a 700 mhz hp 6080 computer will only take up to a 900 mhz.

Just what the last guy said, your computer has socket 370, and supports up to 100Mhz FSB, hence the fastest it will support is the fastest processor that is socket 370 and has a 100Mhz FSB. That just happens to be a Pentium 3 1100Mhz.
