I myself have, on many occasions, with two of my girlfriends, one of which became my wife!
It's a bit messier, and it again depends on the woman in question. An ex GF of mine would put a dark towel over the area we would... you know.... have sex on, whereas my current wife prefers different positions which make "leakage" almost impossible to occur except at the end, when I have to pull out, and both of bodily fluids come rushing down!
I have to say I don't see much of a difference between period sex and regular other time sex. Yes, it's a bit more messy, and yes, it can act as a lubricant (of sorts), but in terms of feeling, I myself never saw much off a real difference.
Make sure you both take a shower afterwards and clean yourselves THOROUGHLY !!! It gets dry and sticky and gooey fast after, and smells strongly too!

Hi jojo, Ive always believed this to be the ladies choice simply because some feel extra hot during their periods and usually instigate the action wheras others are decidedly tepid. Yes it can be messy and I would personally prefer to wait given the choice.

I have done it with my gf who is now my wife and basically she would do it every time she was "ON" as she seems to feel hornier , it can be a little bit messy but as long as neither of you are squeamish , if you're feeling horny just do it !
