Just imagine for a moment that everything was the same, but all of our body were absolutely transparent... instead of photos in IDs, there’d be voice recordings...

Without racial discrimination, with no need for diets (only for health reasons), TV would be a problem, but if humanity lived 19 centuries without it I think we could subsist.

In such case, who would we fall in love with? Would there be women rivalry? Would there be sexual abuse?
It doesn’t mean that we wouldn’t have body’s, they would just be transparent.

PS. I thinking of writing a novel with this idea, give me you’re feedback

PD2.Only one person gives me the impression of having a transparent body... like her soul. And this in reality... guesses who...?

PD3 I have a joke referring to this idea, if you want to read it give me you’re e-mail

Whoa, this is deep!

This means men and women would have to actually take the time to get to know one another, personality wise. Yikes, is that possible for opposite sexes? Just kidding!

I can truthfully say that after 38 of marriage I'd still be madly in love with my hubby. Why? Because although I do love his body, I am not in love with his body. I am in love with the man he is. His body is fine, but it's his inner beauty that keeps me attracted to him after all these years. Actually I don't even 'look' at him much anymore. What I see when I look at the love of my life is exactly what I would see if he was invisable. I see and love his soul, the spirit of the man he is.

Yes there would still be rivalry between women and there would still be sexual abuse and verbal abuse as well. Why? Woman would still want to be loved for who they are, just as we desire so much today. That would be no different. If I read the question right, only the body is transparent so nothing else changes. Most of the problems we face today would still be here whether bodies were seen or not. Human nature isn't changing so the problems would remain.

Since sexual abuse isn't truly a crime about the sexual body but a crime of rage, hate and wanting to hurt, control or humiliate another human being it would remain a big problem. Verbal abuse and physical abuse would continue as well. Individuals with problems that lead to such things would still have their problems of inadequacy or whatever drives them to such actions.

Last but not least, stop thinking about the novel you want to write and get busy writing it! That is my little bit of advise today from a fellow writer. Jump in and do it!

This is a unique and very interesting idea. I think a book about this would be wonderfully refreshing and original. But would there still be health problems? How would doctors see people's organs and such? Are the organs also transparent? And by transparent do you mean like a piece of glass or plastic or do you mean invisible? I think these are all factors that should be taken into consideration when thinking about this. I still think it's a great idea though!

What a unique and beautiful idea. I agree with previous answer. If you wrote a book about this I would buy it. Good Luck
