Our Number System?

What is our number system called? V,X,C, ect. are called Roman Numerals (duh!) but what is ours called (1,2,3,ect.)?

The numerals we use to write today are generally called either Arabic or Hindu-Arabic numerals. The name is a bit strange because in modern Arabic written numbers look nothing like what we write. The name comes from the fact that Arab culture was the source for much of our modern mathematics.
