Why do the critics bash a band like Hinder? I know their songs are not deep and meaningful, but they make you want to sing along and dance. Plus, Austin Winkler is sexy and charismatic.

Any rock band that writes ballads is going to take some heat. The conception is that a sappy ballad is easier to write than a more serious song, which is certainly true lyrically, but it does still take talent to pair it to catchy music that people will actually want to listen to.

Personally I don't like Hinder but don't let critics or anyone else influence you.
