You go to Forum at the top of your page, then scroll down to the folder titled, Myspace. Click on Customizing... scroll through until you've found a topic titled, Friends. You can go to page 5, 4th topic down to get more than 24 on your page... I'll tell you though, it's a pain in the butt to do it... It's quite a process, so make sure you have plenty of time to devote to making your friends list.

go 2 ur change top friends setting than at the top of your screen thares a space that says the # of friends shown u can change that 2 any higher # u see

If you're asking how to do it, you go under change top friends and you change the number shown. If you are asking why, then it's just to feel important I guess.

it may be ur background or layout, i think 8 is the max and i don t think it s necessary to have more than 8
