Yes, i am talking about a Radiologist in a hospital. I am really interested in gamma rays used in chemotherapy but i dont know if this area of work will be needed in the future... hopefully (if cure for cancer) I want to do Biology too because im really into cell biology. Im only in grade 11 so i guess i still have a year to decide. Thank you for any answers!

Radiology is too narrow if you ask me as ,a field that is. my sister is doing Biology and you can even specialize in Biology therefore you can have a good degree, can earn more money than a radiologist and have more choices. in Biology you can go in fields such as Microbiology, Molecular Biology and many others which are high in demand, pay a good sum of money as your salary and you never have to worry since Biology will never go out or die!

Do you mean radiology is the sense of a Radiologist who works in a hospital? If so, you're comparing apples and oranges. You can get a Bachelor's degree in Biology, but a radiologist is an MD, a medical doctor. For that you must go to college, then medical school, then do a residency at a teaching hospital where you specialize in radiology.

Obviously a radiologist, being an MD, gets paid a LOT more than an undergrad biologist.

Radiology because Biology is very general If you like a brand like genetics or cell biology it will be better but to chooese general biology it does not seem to be good for finding the right job. Radiology is perfect if you get a doctorate degree. if not , you can be an assistant.

There are a lot of fields in both radiology and biology. You first need to choose what field or fields you are interested in before you can compare which is the best to study and which has the best jobs. Narrow down your selection and you will get a better quality of informed answers.
