Yes, my daughter has never been on an airplane. My son went on one last year, it didn't seem to bother him. He tugged at his ear for a moment or two afterwards. But he wasn't crying or anything. I'm the one that has terrible trouble with my ears on a plane. I can't stand it. I just don't want her to be in any pain.

Just take your baby's pacifier & a bottle for her to suck on. That will reduce the pressure in her ears. You won't need any medicine.'

A baby's ears can become painful on an airplane, with the change in pressure. They don't know how to "pop" them.

Have something for the baby to suck on. A bottle or a pacifier...or even your finger, if nothing else is handy. The sucking will pop the ears, so the pain will go away.

Your baby will be much more comfortable flying, if s/he has something to suck.

Nurse her or give her a bottle during take off and landing. The sucking and swallowing will eliminate the pressure in her ears.

My son got an ear infection after every plane flight we took. So, eventually, we had to give him antibiotics before flying-or stop flying.
