Of course you can live the code of the Dickensian gentleman, you can even wear your smoking jacket too, you can quaff your brandy and smoke the finest cigars money can buy, you can hob nob with your gentleman friends in the country club and play golf with company directors, you can tip your hat to ladies and even open doors for them too, you can be the perfect gentleman, but you'll be on your own as people are more into materialism these days than manners and social etiquette, such a shame hey.
