I work for a small non-profit that provides advocacy and support for people with developmental disabilities. We are having a Pumpkin Party for children with disabilities and their siblings ages birth - 12. I really need some new ideas for a craft & some activities we could do with the kids. Somewhat simple is best, so that children of all ages and abilities can participate. Any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated.

You could let the kids paint on pumpkins. Or have a pumpkin run of on a piece of paper and have a coloring contest for the kids. You could even scoop out seeds from pumpkins and bake them. Serve this as a snack! It is unique!

We did a pumpkin costume contest once. Have the kids dress the pumpkins up in different themes. Or how about a Halloween themed pinata? Or who can laugh the most like a witch contest?
