Eye shadow sponges can be used more precisely than a brush. If you want your eye shadow to be bright and lasts, wet the applicator and then apply the shadow. Let the first application dry and then apply another for an even more flawless look. Oh, and when putting on your makeup always start with your eyeshadow because if you don't like it you can take it right off and start over. That way the rest f your makeup doesn't get messed up. Good luck! Just remember practice makes perfect.

I get those sets of 3 different shades.

1. I use my biggest eyeshadow brush to put the lighter shade just under my eyebrows, mostly on the outer sides.
2. I use a smaller brush to blend the medium shade on the corners of my lid and into the hollow of my brow bone.
3. I sometimes use an even smaller brush to line above my eyelashes with the darkest shade.

use a soft brush. U can hurt ur eyes if u use a sponge eyeshadow brush to hard. Also when appling it only put it on ur lower eye lid not on the top. it only looks good on some people

I Hate using powder eyeshadow because it makes my eyes look funny plus it is hard putting on I use a cream eyeshadow. It looks better, lasts longer, and is eaiser to apply. It sometimes comes in a stick so then all you have to do is rub it on but sometimes in comes in a case which i use my fingers to apply it (the body heat helps it to absorb into your skin)

First off, if you're just starting forget about brushes. They just make it harder. Use fingers, but be sure to rinse off when changing colors. Start simple, just light colors on the lid and maybe a little bit of a highlight (a VERY light gold-ish or a white) right under the brow to open up the eye. If you're doing a lighter, subtle eye, maybe put on a little more blush if you have fair skin and use blush so that you have color. Hope this helps. Remember, make-up is just to enhance your beauty, so be casual about it and just have fun. Experiment to find your favorite look, or even go have your make-up done once to get ideas. :)

brushes are easy for some people, hard for others. i personally find them a little difficult, because the bristles pick up the shadow so loosely it gets spread places you don't want it (under your eyes or to the sides).
If you're only applying a little bit of shadow for a natural look, i find it's easiest to just use the pad of your finger. otherwise the sponge applicators the shadow comes with are easiest in terms of control. The thing to remember is to apply a little at a time, and blend.

Well I really hope i can help you but i dont do it to much...
I try closing one eye and squinting with the other so that i can see how much i put on if it is still to much when you are done then take a tissue or toilet paper not a wash cloth and lightly tap with it on your eye i would recomend using a soft tip brush or sponge with the stick on the bottom the plain sponge is really hard.....
Hope I helped!!!

This may sound weird, but I use one of those soft, thin chinchilla hair bruushes that I got from an art supply store. It works really well to line my eyes. I also use pointy tipped applicators and q-tips to blend and soften up the eyeshadow.
