You had better find it and get it back to the opera for tonight's performance. They will notice if they are short a tenor. And it better not be in the trunk of your car.

I've had a look and its not raining.
Sometimes the tenner fairy comes along to borrow your hidden money for someone who really needs it more than you. She does it to me on a regular basis.
Don't worry, she always pays it back. Just think how pleased you'll be after her next visit.
There is, of course, the other more boring theory. You've had it, spent it but you can't remember. Or the worst theory of all- you had a dream in which you placed a tenner in a book. It never really existed! That's mean!
Whatever, its no use worrying about it! :o)

With great respect, Capocrimini, I suggest that you check under a lamp. I tend to hide money and credit cards under the lamp next to my bed. Mama and my picciottos Rico and Tonio are too stupid to check there. But why are you worrying about a tenner? If that's all the your associates are skimming, you need to call a sit down, veloce!

Wait for that rainy day, then leaf through all the possible books you could've stuck it in.
Or you could leave it alone, and find a pleasant surprise the next time you open that book!

you need to check every book. and are you SURE no one took it? apart from that, it was only a tenner. it's not like that'd make much differnce on your rainy day. cheer up; you might win the lottery.

I do not think it is in a book at all. I bet was in your pocket, and when you were sitting on the couch it slipped out of the couch and between the cushions. Stop looking in the books and lift the cushions, it is there.

Pretend it doesn't exist.. then you will find it. The amount of money I found in Handbags, jeans pockets, coat pockets and the likes!
BUT whatever you do - before you put anything in to wash - double check the pockets!
When you find it - buy something memorable or useful - like a money box ha ha ha!
