Hook your iPod shuffle into the computer. It can be turned on or off, either way it will charge. You can also buy a charger that plugs into an outlet.

Ipod shuffles don't come with a usb connector, because the usb connector essentially is the bottom of the ipod. You can just plug that into the computer and it should charge. Otherwise, if you have an ihome-type deal for your ipod (the speakers that plug into the wall, usually has like an alarm and radio on it too) that charges them also. There are tons of accessories you can buy for it that probably charge it too . If your ipod just won't charge on anything, bring it to the ipod store. They sometimes send them out & give them back, or give u a new one. Good luck :)

Yours should have came with a USB connector to transfer the MP3 files from the computer to your Shuffle. Anyway, you can connect your Shuffle to the computer even when you're not using just so you know it's at full charge. I do the same thing when I'm not using my video iPod in the car or working out at the gym. Hope this helps. GOOD LUCK!
