There are places for differently abled individuals along with hearing impaired/deaf individuals can receive help.
First, college students can receive help at the disabled students union or office. They can provide an interpreter among other services to enable you to attend college.
Second, the office or department of vocational rehabilitation's goal is to help a disabled person become independent. It can be located in the blue pages of the telephone book or on your state's government website.
Finally, there are the Centers for Independent Living. I do not know if they are in your area. They receive grants from the government to help individuals like yourself.
