Because they're fat and cute and if they flew, you couldn't see them as well.
I want to move to the south of France and train a pig to hunt truffles and go out in the chestnut woods with my truffle pig. Sniff! Pigs are delightful. For a while, in my neighborhood, there was a yard with a Husky dog and a pot-bellied pig and they'd trot around the yard together and they were sooooo cuuute! They dug up the entire yard and it was just a big muddy churned-up mess, but they had such a good time together and it was sweet to see the pig following its dog. Awwwww! Now how could the pig and dog live together if the pig flew? Too hard! Piggies should stay on the ground.

Don't say that around Cincinnati, Ohio...they have a flying pig marathon LOL. Just type in flying pigs in google and you will get all shorts of results.

They don't have wings...and aren't built for flight in the slightest. No hollow bones, no flight structures, and they can weigh an awful lot. They can swim, walk, and run...but that's about all they've got going for them.
