apparently the original stig was damon hill but they have changed when the stig commited suicide by driving off the end of a aircraft carrier (although damon hill is ok)but i dont know who the present day stig is sorry

Sorry, I'm not sure who the new Stig is, but I'm pretty sure the old stig was ex-F1 driver Perry McCarthy.

its noel edmonds, he's a shortarse about the same hight as the stig
plus he has a very good selection of sports cars and was on top gear a few years ago test driving a 1960's ford gt40, 1 of the 2 he owns
