in "my videos" folder i have two folders, one video_ts and audio_ts. this has a movie which i can play no probs. but i want to select all and copy to my dvd in the drive (just place them on to the disc). the file size is 7.9gb and the disc size is a dvd+rw standard 4.7gb. how do i get round this problem? is there a way i can turn my 4.7gb disc 4x speed in to long play for it to all fit on. i do have a program that can transfer these on but there is no option in the program to put the disc in long play. any way around all this please. thank you in advance

get dvd shrink its free it will shrink it to the right size and no loss of quality get it here http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/dvd_rippers/dvd_shrink.cfm it will also burn it to dvd disc for you make sure you configure it to pal uk format i did a load for my daughter they were 7.xx gig and it shrank them down to 4.xx gig and burnd them it uses nero burn by default but you can tell it to yous what ever burrning software you have

I understand what you're talking about, but you can't make a DVD player long play. What you need to do is to shrink the DVD files that you have on your hard drive so that they'll fit onto a 4.7 GB DVD disc.
