Do most people know from birth or does it come later in life? I am just curious, because I did date a female once, and I don't consider myself bisexual, but I'm not totally straight either!!! What's WRONG with me??????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing is wrong with you. Sometimes people go a life time without figuring out who they are. Being with a woman doesnt mean that you are bisexual. Sometimes you fall in love with a person male or female. Its just a person. In my case my girlfriend didnt come out until she was in highschool but she can look back and say that she was gay from the time anyone would have interest in another person. As far as for me she is my first real serious relationship and we have been together for over a year.
And I couldnt be happier!
I really think there are always ways that you could say I was gay from birth but it depends on how you were brought up and just as an individual. Some people act on it and some dont. Be who you want to be and if it means that you fall in love with a female then more power to you.
But there is nothing wrong with you! Follow your heart!

I think it can hit at any time. I think it mostly hits you when you learn to recognise the fact. I was 11 when I first had feeling for a woman. It was a newsreader her in OZ and I loved her. At the time I thought it was because I wanted to be a journalist but I realised around 18 it was more of a 'lesbian' thing.

I only really became secure enough to come out just before I turned 21. I found the girl I wanted to date and we are still going. I guess what I am saying is that you can recognise that you are gay but it can take time.
