As the first reggaetón duet to feature both male and female vocalists, LDA is a group known for their versatility among the genres of rap and reggaetón. While collaborating with acclaimed reggaetón producer Boy Wonder, lead male vocalist Baby Psycho, (recently featured on Boy Wonder's latest track), first peaked Boy Wonder's interest in Reggaetón.

Both Baby Psycho and Orquídea Negra, LDA's female vocalist, are of Dominican descent and were raised in New York City. Unlike most reggaetón artists, they developed their sound in New York and have command much respect for their strong "in your face" style. Although originally an underground phenomenon, LDA is scheduled to participate in N.O.R.E.'s upcoming CD La Familia and Tony Touch's new album REGGAETONY. Their first single "Hoy" from the Chosen Few El Documental soundtrack went to the Top 5 of the R&R Latin Pool Chart last summer (2005), and has become a popular club request.

Their just starting out and trying to prove themselves...so they don't have enough $$$$$$$ nor adequate representation. They don't have an official website either. You'll see them "featured" on mixes and touring w/other big Reggaeton artists....if they survive, you'll hear more about them.

Do you have any idea how unhealthy birth control pills are? Did you know they are one of the main reasons why so many women in their mid-thirties have a heck of a hard time conceiving? Did you know that they increase your risk of certain kinds of cancer even though they reduce your risk for other kinds? And did you know that they seem to make girls more vulnerable to STD infection, due to their effect on the cervix (which is still developing into the early 20's)? *That* is why I "villify" the Pill. It is an awfully big health risk. It has nothing to do with the fact that I'm pro-life. PS - I'm not anti-choice. Women have oodles of choices. We can take pills, use barrier methods, chart our cycles and choose to abstain during our fertile week, or heck, do the old-fashioned thing and not have sex until you marry a good man. That works too. I am pro all of those choices (because taking a cancer-causing pill is better than having a baby that you will neglect or abort)....I'm just anti-abortion unless it is a medical necessity.
