i know there will be some Flames, Oilers, Canucj=ks and Sens fans but this is for the fans of other teams. whop would you cheer for if the Habs were in the finals vs the Leafs.

I suppose it would be the Leafs since they have not won it in 40 years.
If they danced again for the Cup the following year, give it to the Habs.
In year after that allow the Sabres to win it over the Wings.
In the year after Sabres win it, allow the Blackhawks to win it over some team from the South.
I got it covered until 2010...

You have to open up the answer to allow....NEITHER. As a Flames fan, I can't cheer for the Habs....although were are the only visiting team to win the cup in the Forum, and I can't cheer for the Leafs. If I had tickets to that Cup final, I would wear my Flames jersey.

Habs for sure. There a much more interesting and better team to hold Lord Stanley. The Leafs haven't showed in a very long time that they have any potential to make it to the 3rd or 4th round of the playoffs. As good as Sundin is there's no way he could do it by himself.

Montreal Canadiens of course more history more grit more speed more Stanley cups and fun to watch hockey stile.
now I'm a Detroit fan but in the east i love Montreal if Detroit Montreal go to the finals and if either one wins i still be happy

Ranger Fan. I would rather see the leafs in it. I guess because here in the States I get HNIC on the dish and I end up watching the Lesfs a bit more, and Kovalev was such a stiff when he was here in NY and I can not stand him.
