I am reaching retirement and am looking for the perfect climate for me. I do very well in dry climate. So I am looking for a place any were in the world that had a dry but not dreadfully hot yearround tempature.. I did very well in the UAE but there are 3 or so months that are to hot and hunmid. I live in Southern California and it is to expensive to retire here for me. I do not want to live in 2 places. So where in the world is there a constant pleasant 80 to 100 degree dry climate.

In South Africa Cape Town take a drive north from the city out into the country to Montagu about 2 or 3 hours drive where the climate tends to be warm and dry all year round. It's because of the main road which goes under the mountain range keeping the humidity on the other (city) side where it belongs. How ever living in South Africa can be challenging I'd go with Broken Hill Australia.

My choice would be Perth, Western Australia.
It is a relaxed city and the climate is dry, see this link.

Aswan , Egypt. Virtually no rain and the humidity is very low so the heat feels comfortable.

NEW MEXICO. WE CAME HERE 20 YEARS AGO FROM AZUSA, CALIFORNIA. IT GETS HOT HERE BUT NOT AS HOT AS PHOENIX. PHOENIX GETS 120 DEGREES IN THE SUMMER. WE HAVE MILD WINTERS AND RARE SNOWFALL IN MY AREA. WELOVE IT HERE. PINE TREES IN THE MOUNTAINS 20 MILES AWAY, DESERT, LAKE 10 MILES AWAY, RIVER RIGHT THROUGH TOWN. LOTS TO SEE AND DO.
