I am so p****d off with Royal mail. It was my birthday yesterday, and nothing came in the post. I thought everyone had forgotten. My cards and presents turned up today. Some of them were posted on Friday. I get this all the time with letters, bills etc. It is a poor service which is getting worse and worse. Also where I live, the post office is absolute chaos and, you can be queueing for up to 50 mins. They have like seven cashiers and only three working. It is dia.

The so called Royal mail is only interested in delivering junk mail as this provides more money for the managers to spend on drugs and prostitutes and for running football teams, it is like all the other so called public services only run for the benefit of the corrupt managers and directors I would not entrust anything of mine to this so called public service

more abysmal than what?
Than last year? and the year before? and the year before that?
yep, I'd say they are
It might have something to do with the fact that they are delivering so much of that junk mail that they recently sacked a postman for advising his round how to avoid (postal preference service), so a lot more of the REAL mail is getting lost

Their prices keep increasing yet the service is getting worse. We have only one delivery per day now instead of two. Our postman folds everything routinely even if an item is small enough to go through the letter box. He recently folded a lovely postcard longways and ruined it. He also bends items which are clearly marked 'please do not bend.' I complained to him when he destroyed the postcard and got 'sorry mate' and a shrug of the shoulders. He didn't learn anything from it and still folds everything before putting it through the letterbox.

Yes, Only one assured collection a day at 5pm. Only one delivery a day arrives anytime between 8am and 1pm. some of my mail going to the wrong house. letters sent to me gone missing, letters sent by me gone missing.I reported missing mail filled in lengthy forms got lots of words back which meant, dont know where its gone tough. can it get worse? does anybody care? The Royal should be withdrawn and replaced with Rubish

In total agreement...We get post delivered about 3 to 4 times a week that is not for us, wrong road, wrong door number, even wrong area (how on earth do they manage that one??)

I wonder how many of my letters are ending up in wrong houses?? Being socially responsible we put these back in the post box with a nasty comment to the posty written on the front, however I wonder how many people just open, read and bin post that is not theirs??

Terrible, i order loads from ebay, i dont reeive some of my goods for weeks, then all of a sudden there is a note through my door telling me to colect parcels, cos they wont fit thru my letter box, the collection times are 8am to 12 pm, like nobody works these hours, therefore i have to pay to collect my items from a more local and conveniently place....horrendous.

I think they stink. I ordered a watch from the US. It took United Parcel Service just one day to get it to the airport, and the next day it was in customs. I had to pay Parcelforce a fee to release it from customs (which I did immediately), and it took them a further 6 days to get it from their warehouse 18 miles away to my house. They are a joke.
