Do not fall for it!!!
My mother sent $3000 to establish an oversea's acct when she was told she won a 1.9 million from on-line lottery in Spain. (I told her not to respond but she did anyway) They had contact phone numbers and emails from all over the globeand everything 'looked' legitimate (but that is what these people do). They also emailed my mom to try to get more money. She said no and tried to get her $3000 back but the acct had been closed. Mom saves everything and turned the info over the FBI who was already investigating the group.
These are all scams!!! If you don't remember entering a contest or buying a lottery ticket then they just want whatever money they can get out of you.

definately a scam. there is a new one too. someone will call you and pretend to be your credit card company and say they are from the fraud dept and tell you there are unauthorized charges on your account. then they'll give you your card # and address and ask you to confirm. then they'll assure you that they will take care of this charge and ask you for the 3 digit # on the back of the card to prove that you are still in possesion of the card and that it isn't missing or stolen. this is what they're after the 3 digit code. so if anyone calls you asking for this type of info hang up and call the company yourself before handing any business over the phone.

Ever here the expression buyer beware? If something sounds too good to be true then it probably is not a good bet. There are so very many scams out there that you need to be very selective on who you should believe. If you do not know the name on things from lotteries to products to whatever offer is out there then just say no.

Big time scam. The same for those who want to deposit millions of dollars into your bank account.
They either want you to send them a small fee, or else they want your bank account number and credit card number.
Guess why!

Yes. It's a scam. They will sell your info to other scammers and will ask for more info to drain your bank account. Report it to scams@fraudinternational.com

Are you kidding? I've won lotteries from Spain, England, Australia, Netherlands and from about 4 African nations! And I also get all of these blessings from widows whose husbands have died and they want me to help them transfer funds into my bank account.. and a few other "government employees" from Nigeria, Zaire, Libya and Algeria! Oh, yeah, I should have about 80 million (US) dollars by now... ! Ain't I one lucky guy? Now I'm waiting for a guy to get back to me about the sale of the Brooklyn Bridge here in NYC! Ha!

Why hell yes. I won over 60 million dollars last year from lotteries I didn't even enter.
I also received large estates in Nigeria, and another 40 million from Nigeria that was placed in my bank account by corrupt Nigerian officials.
