an aura around a human's body? I don't mean feeling a person's aura. I mean seeing one. I used to see them glowing off of people when I was very young. The last time I have ever seen one was when I was a preteen & have not seen one since. I am 50 years old now. I want to be able to see one again and wonder why I don't.

I'm sorry. I didn't know what category to ask this question under. I know they are not just myths.

I had a very good church christian friend who was married in a beautiful ceremony. When she walked away from the altar to go through the side door of the church, she was absolutlely surrounded by a lovely, white glow--one that was not, I repeat, not coming from the white of the gown. This is the only time I saw such a thing. I figured she may have been very sexually pure before the Lord. This was about six years ago. To this day, she is one of the sweetest girls I know. I'm about 25 years older than she.

Yes, I have many times. It happens more often when I am tired...If I am really, really tired, Sometimes I can see my own.
It used to freak me out, I had no idea what it was, someone explained to me what it was and now it's not such a big deal.

In order to be able to see them again, you need to be open to it. One trick someone taught me to see them...is: instead of looking straight at a person, look a little above their shoulder(s), and if you stare at that spot for a few minutes it should just kind of pop out at you.

Me never seen. But i know what you talk about. maybe you should try meditation or Chakra. I ever read a book about chakra (an advance learning of yoga) but this one strictly need mentor/guru. it says about the human aura.

What you have to do is stare at someone for a minute or so, and then close your eyes and you'll see it on the back of your eyelids. The light has to be not too bright, not too dim, and it really, really helps if the wall behind them is white.

I personaly feel that all our magical powers are strongest when we are young and that with age we stop beliving or forget I'm not exactly sure why but I know they are srtonger when we are young. I suggest maybe taking some mushrooms. I was seeing auras then.

It's fine, this is generally a pretty safe place to ask such questions. :D

Have you tried meditation? A lot of times, a centering of the mind can override those "mental censors" that keep us from seeing things that are mentally overwhelming.

No, but I have dreams of things that will happen in the future. I'm not talking about predicting catastrophies or anything. They're just snatches of conversation, etc. I have them less now. I'm 51.
