Mozaaart is not really a "Romantic." But this question is a little vague... all of them played from memory. That is, they could play music without looking at the written music notation. I think what the other answerer meant was, Mozart (and several of the other famous guys) could hear music once and then play it from memory. So that might be what you are asking. But another answer might be Beethoven - Beethoven was a famous pianist before he became famous as a composer. He went deaf and after he was deaf he could still play the piano - he couldnt hear, but he knew what the notes sounded like.... Imagine how frustrating that would be - to be the greatest composer in the history of the world, and to be deaf!

Mozart... Check out the movie "Amadeus," it's fictitious, but very informative.
