I am a huge Cowboys fan and i was thinking!

After Parcells retires...again!, what are the Cowboys going to do...they cant replace him with a regular coach, because having a REGUALAR COACH the players would walk all over him!!!
its like a having an strict Army sargent for a dad and being around him for 4 or 5 years and then having just a regular dad!!
Would yall like like to see Mike Ditka the next Cowboys head Coach!!!???

They might try to re-hire Jimmy Johnson. He was better
than Barry Switzer, who did an ok job. Jimmy Johnson
and Jerry Jones don't get along that well. Neither did
the late Billy Martin and George Steinbrenner, when Martin
was in charge of the Yankees. Jimmy Johnson would be a
better fit for the Cowboys than Mike Ditka would be. Jimmy
knows what it takes to win, since he won at the University
of Miami (FL) and with Dallas in terms of national championships
and Super Bowl games. The man is a winner. I don't necessarily
like the man, but he might be the best man for the job. Mike Ditka
is the same type of coach as Parcells in terms of being a disciplinarian. The Cowboys made good changes, by getting a
decent quarterback in Bledsoe, plus they upgraded their wide receiver position by getting Terrell Owens, for all his problems.

Ditka will never coach again, he has made that very clear. Parcells isn't that tough coach you think he is. Why does he let Owens walk all over him? Because Jerry Boy tells him he has to. The Cowboys next Head coach will be Mike Martz after Parcells gets fired after this season. Why Martz? because his pass pass pass is what Jones wants for Owens. It's not Parcells Cowboys it is Owens's Cowboys. Just ask Jerry Jones.

Parcells will leave the cowboys because the owner Jones like the owner of the Raiders won't let the coaches run the show, his defending of TO against one of Parcells coaches only added fuel to the fire, most likely Parcells will leave with a bitter taste to never coach again

I really hope you arent serious. Im not a cowboys fan but Mike Ditka would ruin your franchise. He traded the ENTIRE saints draft to draft Ricky Williams. Plus, the Saints were terrible when he was there. Parcells usually leaves a team in a much better position than when he got it. eg Pats, Jets. You just gotta hope Jerry Jones finds the right guy when Parcells leaves.

Mike Ditka was a great coach.

However when he took the Saints job - he quit. His heart wasn't in it. That last season with the Saints was an embarrassment and his heart wasn't into it.

I really think that Jones will "keep it in the family" and go with Mike Zimmer. Not sure if he is the right coach.

Ditka? Please. You don't want a players coach for real, you want someone they will respect and fear and go to war for.I've been a huge Ditka fan since he was Landrys special teams coach but he ain't the answer

Parcell has not done much for the Cowboys. I think its time for a change.

Dikta? No thanks. He peaked in the 80's. I'd rather take a chance on another team's offensive/defensive cordinator, even a successful college coach than Dikta. I'd love to see them wheel a deal to nab Weis out of Notre Dame, although that's probably unlikely.
