Bush. His continued aggression and ignorance has become a virus.

Your evaluation, that "Americans" are so hostile, is at its nature incorrect. Americans are the most helpful, giving people that have ever existed. This is easily proven through efforts on a personal or governmental level.
What you view as "hostility" is a perfectly acceptable and responsible reaction to the threats directed against the nation. Any sovereign nation should and must defend itself.

Y is it "Americans"? How many of us do u know? Y are you judging everyone by the one or two hostile people u may have come across? People ALL OVER THE WORLD are Hostile! I would bet that if a rude person, came up to me and continued to be rude I might become hostile too. Don't judge isn't nice!

I don't believe we are all hostile. Alot of Americans tend to be arrogant, and ignorant though. Many have no knowledge of the world around them. The educational system in this country is pathetic when compared to the rest of the industrialize world.
There is nothing wrong when you think of yourself as #1. WE ARE!!! By the same token, respect for others goes a long way toward earning the respect you want...

Actually, I think we're one of the sweetest accepting country around.. if we weren't.. why would everyone want to be here..
We're tired of people getting in our faces, and sneaking into our country, trying ot kill us..
Sorry, but this is a family more than it is a country. We may disagree with our own, but they are our own.. no one else has the right to talk down to any of us, or slap one of us in the face.. do that and you'll have all of us in your face. I think that's what many never expected. We defend our own..stand beside our own..
You know.. united we stand, divided we fall..
We don't take our words as mere words, like most of you do.. they are our heart..
Come in peace, and be our friend..
if not..
well then.. time to kick some a$$

Well I think the hostility stems from the assault on our country on 9/11. I think the senseless loss of human lives has a lot to do with American hostility. Just an opinion. I mean when we were attacked by Japan we fought back why should this be any different?

Dear Questioner:
I wonder why you didn't say where you are from?
Maybe we Americans are perceived as hostile because our country allows unsolicited* freedom of speech. You are hearing from all segments of classes, some with education and some without. We are individuals - each one of us.
If you are questioning us because of the present Administration, not all of us believe in how this administration has handle foreign affairs. ...But the beauty America is, I can say I don't agree with the present administration without retribution.
Some of us are peace loving and believe in common decent communication.
May peace find us all in all segments in our lifes!

Common sense dictates that it is the individual that is hostile, not a race or nation. Every individual on our planet has innate tendencies to be hostile. It is what a person dwells on moment by moment, and chooses to act on that makes him or her hostile. We all have the ability to be patient/kind and non-judgemental or critical, angry, full of rage and hostile.

It has to do with people like you hiding a statement behind a question.
The hostility comes from a reaction to our nation being attacked and us being embroiled in a GLOBAL war on terror.
Just a matter of survival Miss. I do not think we are being hostile enough.

Because we have to deal with each other on a daily basis, along with being lied to dialy from the media and politicians, as well as being manipulated by a power that no one will acknowledge is actually running the country, and stealing from the middle class while saying they are helping us, as well as NO health care, for many, and then of course we have our sons and daughters dieing for nothing, in a "WAR" as we are told, yet look of the definition of war ....is it? And then we are despised by 75% of the people of the world, because we are so arrogant and have so much, and simply want everyone to think, act, dress, pray, and govern like we do....so wouldnt you be irritated everyday?

You are generalizing. Americans are not hostile.
Would consider all the Arabs as beings hostiles when you see the Muslims rioting and screaming for the death of US and England!
Would you judge all the Muslims as being hostile because of what some of them did against non Muslims!
why is it other people can scream bloody hell, but if the Americans did something, you consider them hostile! Don't judge all the people the same, we are not.
