i had a similar situation with my cousin (wierd). He was also 17 and had dirty UA. As long as you find a decent lawyer they can fight it off...I'm not sure how the lawyer did it in this case, but he got him off!

Most likely not. His best option is to fess up and pay the price of doing the time. He is 17 and the charges he has are pretty serious. Anymore the courts treat 17 yr olds the same as adults. Running never solves anything. He needs to stop now and grow up or he will always be on the run.

not to be rude but your cousin is a dunb-*** if any thing he should just take the time they're gonna make hin do and when he turns 18 his record will be cleared and he gets a new start but he'll still have the probation officer to deal with but im sure that the probation officer could recommend classes for his problem and maybe even help him find a job so he could get his mind off all that **** that keep getting him in trouble.

The charges will not, I repeat will not be dropped. A bench warrant will be issued for him. If he gets into trouble anywhere the authorities can and probably will check if there are any warrents out on him and arrest him on the spot and then he is in so much more trouble than he is now. Please advise him to face his trouble head on and get the help he needs to get his drug habit in check.

Public disturbance ain't crap, pot isn't crap, all misdemeanors.
Start a drug program, get lawyer, turn yourself in, in this order.
warrant will if not already be issued, stay low. There is a seven year law before your friend will be able to not look over his shoulder, my advise, take care of it right away, thank god mt rebel days are over, they sure cost me a pretty penny. Good Luck. I AM. S

He sounds like a loser so it doesn't matter what he does now since it's going to catch up to him later.

RUNNING FROM YOUR PROBLEMS NEVER SOLVES ANYTHING. TELL HIM TO DO THE TIME, HE DID THE CRIME. IT WILL HAUNT HIM FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE IF HE RUNS. AND OWNING UP TO YOUR MISTAKES IS PART OF GROWING UP, AND BEING MATURE.
