hello, I am 47 years old, male, green eyes, good sense of humour, good looking, slim and like to laugh. I will fly to see your mum for christmas, especially if she makes a great roast dinner. I will pay for my flight.
That will be a great surprise, photo supplied if neeeded.

A day at a spa having beauty treatments. Dinner and theatre tickets with a stay in a posh hotel too. that would make her feel really special. or a nice piece of antique jewellry, something unique that only she will have. A family portrait professionally framed, or you could hire a cleaner [male] to clean the house naked

No one knows her like you. You know her interests, hobbies and likes.
Put a basket together of some of her favorite things. If its gardening, put seeds, new hand trowel, hand lotion, gloves etc. How about a beautiful scrapbook of family photos that YOU made her? How about a 'cooking basket' with a variety of pastas and oil (even include expensive truffle oil)? get the idea?

Jewellery, a designer outfit, a spa day. OR if she won't fly to see you, then maybe you should go and surprise her on Christmas day! That would be a good present if she doesn't see you much.

What's flying got to do with it,? unless your planning buying her a holiday. Money don't stretch that far with me. My mum's not here anymore, but she knew that I could never afford a lot, with a family to look after. It always seems to me that people are always trying to outdo each other. My mum was always happy with what she was bought.
