What do you think will be more damaging on the country. Would you have a problem with a new investigation that considers all hypothesis. If so, why?

Hey Jesi, The truth has not been revealed. I highly encourage you to look at both sides of the story. Those sites you have listed have dozens of proven inconsistencies. And yes, terrorists do exist and there are many in the U.S gov't.

Just looking at the answers here it is obvious that most ppl have not done the research. A couple answers even stated that these conspiracies are the ideas of democrats. That is very far from the truth. All of your questions can be easily answered if you take 5 minutes and do the research. Why is it so hard for ppl to accept conspiracies when so many have been proven to be true.

Though I am not a proponent of many of the conspiracy theories that abound on the web concerning 9/11, it would be naïve to think that the government wouldn’t try to obscure some of its negligence, or even complicity, concerning that fateful event. Will the 9/11 story, in its totality, ever be revealed to the public? It might. But one thing is for certain; this revelation will probably only occur years after the fact, maybe generations after our own. Political forces on both sides of the isle have too much to lose if there are serious implications that can be proven with respect to our government concerning that fateful day. They will stop at nothing to keep people in the dark until 9/11 is a distant memory. If history informs us of anything it is that hindsight is always 20/20.
I would more than welcome balanced coverage of all sides of the debate concerning this issue. Yet, the mainstream media marginalizes anything, except the "official" version of events, as quackery, while concentrating on topics that have less national importance. Its called intellectual cowardice and the American media embodies it in spades.
The truth, if it deviates greatly from the standard account of 9/11, could greatly throw this country into upheaval. Maybe that is not such a bad thing. After all, it would probably wake people up to the sham that is the two party system.

In response to the anti-conspiracy ostriches who choose to bury thier collective heads in the sand i say "wake up and take a close look around you, at what is happening" not details like: a plane crashes into the ground but there are no bodies or plane wreckage, not this party of politicians vs that party of politicians. The truth that Islamic extremists are not responsible for 9/11 but in fact were "enabled" by our leaders and now used to brainwash those who choose to sleep. While it is true there are people who hate our way of life and standard of living and are willing to do the cowardly, dastardly thing by strapping on explosives and kill innocent women, children and civilians in general, they are the minority of Islamists and not the majority. This is the same form of propaganda foisted upon us before. This game plan is not new here. The truth about what happened and who is responsible should be revealed because upon close inspection it appears that the people who died that September morning were killed by thier own, not outsiders. If that is the truth then the greater question(s) remains to be considered; WHY? And what's next? This should concern all, everybody and everyone who considers themselves an american. This is the greatest country on earth but it wont remain so if we keep our collective mouths shut and simply go along with the bs we are told when the facts are staring us in the face especially when what you see doesn't quiet make sense or add up. Does our govt have an obligation to be forthcoming? Yes. Do they have the right to not divulge everything in the matters of national security? Yes. Where is the line? The line is crossed when they deliberately lie and there have been many in the past two administrations. Dont forget this is YOUR country. Whether you are for war or against it.

Your question is a LIE. To ask if the TRUTH about 9/11 should be revealed or concealed is like saying that the truth has NOT been revealed and is being concealed. Taking that fact one step farther, if the TRUTH has not been revealed, it stands to reason it is being concealed. If that is the case, then we have to surmise that there is a cover-up and a conspiracy is afoot. NOW the reality of the situation is that the TRUTH has been revealed and that millions of Americans saw it as it was taking place on their TVs, and investigations of the incidents have all been performed by bipartisan groups and experts have testified and nothing was found questionable. After all that, I would say that an investigation should be made of YOU and other CONSPIRACY NUTS. NO, THERE IS NO NEED OF ANOTHER INVESTIGATION.

They need to do a thorough investigation because there shouldn't be any question about what happened... it's just more suspicious that they don't do it and have been so obstinate about refusing to conduct investigations or release certain information. I think you're right to question, because we haven't gotten all the answers. I don't claim to know what really happened, and that is the real problem. If they conducted a real investigation, these conspiracy theories could be put to rest... not that conspiracies don't ever happen... a conspiracy is defined as a group of people planning to commit a crime. it happens every day.
By the way, for those who say a new investigation is unnecessary, we know that members of the Bush administration lied in their testimony, and in court this would be grounds for a new investigation.

I think we should investigate all possibilities, no matter how outrageous. We should make it a contest to see who can come up with the wildest scenario.
Here's my entry... it was a big CIA plot to assassinate Elvis, who had been in the Witness Protection Program, living in a special bunker underneath the WTC (which is why the area was REALLY cordoned off so fast). They had learned that Elvis had acquired positive proof of the identity of the man on the Grassy Knoll, and also had hacked into the NASA databanks and had the satellite images of the person who really shot Officer Tippet that day (It was 17 year old future President Bush!).
I think the top five prize winners should be made honorary Chairmen of the DNC, and given tinfoil hats autographed by Al Gore.

I think one of the other posters had it right, even if the truth is revealed, the other side would not believe it.
On the same note, it would be nice if a REAL investigation from a party that has no interest other than the truth was to find the truth. I still do not buy the box cutter story. Has Americans become so weak?

Has Bin Laden claimed to be innocent? Nobody with half a brain that hasn't been shriveled away by a mixture of recreational drugs believes there is a 9/11 conspiracy. No one will bother to take an investigation seriously.

Only a handful knew about the Enron case and Watergate, and it was leaked. So how could thousands of people be in on a 9/11 scam and it not be leaked. It's absurd to think that people believe that the government was behind it, the most incompetent crew i've seen in a long time.

More groups have studied the 9/11 event and have come up with the same conclusion...........except those who think everything is a conspiry and was done by the present government. It was carried out by a group of terrorist that wanted to destroy the U.S. and show the world that Islam was great.
