I am not a big Patriots fan but i would actually like to see Moss getting traded to New England what are the chances of him getting traded to the Patriots!? Would they actually try to trade for him?
keep in mind:

- Injury prone

- Controversial like T.O.

-Raiders would ask for more than he is worth since they traded alot for him!

Reasons to trade:

- He is a deep threat

-what other recievers do the Patriots have?...no deep threats!!!

-His stats are down because...what quarterbacks did he have in Oakland!!!??

-Tom Brady and Moss!!!!! if Moss can stay healthy than they are once again a SuperBowl Contender!!!

-He's Randy Moss!!!!!

If I were the Pats I'd never acquire Randy unless I just had to. That guy can wreck a team worse than T.O.! He's almost a one-man NFL wrecking crew. He's a loud mouth, he's not a team player (which the Patriots are huge on), his character as a person is very very very questionable, and he takes plays off - no Patriot takes plays off. He's not a good fit in New England and honestly, he's not a good fit anywhere in the NFL - that guy's a born loser!

My initial gut reaction, as a Pats fan, was HELL NO!! However, you do make an excellent point about the fact that we have no receivers (NONE) and even the running game is a bit lax. TB cant do it all alone! It would be nice to know that when TB throws it deep there is someone down there who can actually catch the ball.

It could be a good move, but it is unlikely that Belichek will allow another controversial pick (although, to be fair, Dillon has been remarkably mellow since moving to New England).

Patriots are notorious for not taking melcontents. Raiders already offered Jerry Porter to New England but they would not have anything to do with him. They went with the safer Doug Gabriel. No way Moss goes to New England. BTW NFL trading deadline is today.

Not until next season. The trade deadline just passed for the NFL last week. To be traded he would have to clear waivers. There are too many teams ahead of the Pats on the waiver line that would love to have Randy Moss. It wouldn't be a bad move for the Pats to make, they will just have to wait until the offseason.

Hey any team other than the Raiders, will do just fine for Moss. I feel bad for him cuz he wants to do more, but the Raiders just suck. New England sounds like a good trade, but it would be awsome if he went to the Cardinals, Lienart-Moss. But ya the Raiders are gonna keep him

I can't see Pioli or Belichick wanting a lockerroom cancer like Moss on the team. Those guys are too smart to make the same stupid mistakes that Al Davis does. The Pats have been consistently good, not only for drafting wisely, picking up talented players, good cap management, but also considering team chemistry.

Pats just inked Gaffney for 2 yrs so i think their receiving corps is set for awhile; granted Moss is a good deep threat but at what price, both draft pick and chemistry

Randy Is just like TO. Good player but lots of maintenance. If they play on Sunday there both great players. and it be a positive move for the Patriot's.

Doubt that this trade is ever going to happen why get a player just to turn around and give him baack away. I say raiders will keep him for at least a little.

the changes of that are highly unlikely the Pats are not a team that would take moss they are too soft and moss is too hardcore for them now maybe to like san fran where is can get the ball throw to him the whole game maybe
