How do i remove information that was posted in my name on the web or google?

It could be next to impossible to do so. You would need to find all the places that have the information, ask them to remove it and hope for the best.

It is unlikely that you'd find all of them if it was done in forums on cached online chats and even if you found them, why would the site even read what you have to say?

In reality, you will have to learn to find a way to live with it. If there is private information, then you should call the appropriate authorities to ensure everyone's security. For example if your Amex card number was posted, call Amex ASAP!

But don't worry too much, people are used to pranks, scams and the such on the Internet so most won't even notice it. Just prepare a small ready made answer to give to people who notice.
