Storage limit on what? If your organization is using Exchange, there are multiple settings on storage limits. If your administrator set the storage limit at 2Gb, but the "warning level" at 1Mb (instead of Gb by mistake), you'd get a warning at 1.1Mb, even though you're permitted 2000 times that much storage. Boosting the "warning level" to an appropriate amount would fix the problem (and also put egg all over the face of your IT guy).
