Neither, imo. The original Japanese versions were superior, but if I had to pick one I'd say Grudge 1

The internet and television ads have destroyed any and all chances of the Grudge 2 making any impact on me in the theatre. I know who's gonna get it, when, and how, that's there's no point of watching since I've seen everything from the previews and online clips. Now, when the first girl gets it in Grudge 1, the whole theatre was rolling. I'm guessing the sequel doesn't have any of that.

I think that the grudge 1 was alot better, but grudge 2 was alot scarie also. I think that they rushed grudge 2 to get it out by friday the 13th. Did you notice torch the middle to end the microphones and how they were shooting the peoples? Like at the top of their heads.... Did you catch that??? I dont know. Overall, it was good and pretty scary, but I think they rushed it like I said. They both were really good. But if I had to pick outa the scaries, I would say the 2nd one but if I had to pick outa the best quality. I would say the first one!!

grudge 2 was much better than the 1st in my opinion.

The Grudge was better because it is in Japanese not a crap American remake, or worse yet a sequel to a crap American remake. Come on Hollywood, have a word.

grudge 1 ....2 was very passive....it gave chills in the first part...second was jus so predictable

Neither, they are both way lame! Not good Scary Movies at all! More humorous than scary!

Really, both of them suck! You can expect everything thatas going to happen and it's not even scary. It makes you laugh for all it matters. Here in Puerto Rico people is not scared by that piece of crap, just go to the streets and see the gay people, then you will be scared for real. If you were scared in this movie, dont come here to PR. Trust me on this one.

i liked the second one.....neither was scary to me. the second one was hilarious to me...especially the part with the asian old man doing peek-a-boo on the bus. i wasnt scared because i knew exactly when the "scary" long haired chik would pop up.

i in my opinion love "The Grudge". i assumed the tale become super and it become frightening. in case you probably did not like the 1st one, you're gonna hate the 2d and third one. 2d one remains bearable yet third one is painful to observe.
