Good day. Yeah i kno what u mean. Is the driver installed for yur graphics card is a windows xp driver?. Sometimes by mistake, a windows 2000 driver may install since both are based on NT Technology. Use yur graphics card cd and reinstall the driver. U can also go to their website and download the updated driver since the updated one may address the computer hanging issue. Also u can go to www.driverguide.com u have to sign up but drivers are free. Laterz.
