I remember the girl was a high school student and her dad was an alien and towards the end of the show she would look out her window into night sky/ space and talk to her dad. Im sure the mum didnt know the dad was an alien. Oh and she used to freeze time.
Also the theme tune was that song "if you like to swing on a star, carry moonbeams home in jar....or would you rather be a mule."

It was called "Out of this World". I used to love that show. Her mom knew that he was an alien. And she would talk to her dad using some white pyramid looking thing.

Oh my god! your killing me! I remember watching that show too when I was a kid. I think she was an alien too but I might be wrong. I was really little. I hope someone has the answer on here. I'm going to have to keep checking back now lol. It wasn't punky brewster was it? I dont think so...................

I've never heard of a show where a GIRL'S dad was an alien, but one of my favorite shows of 1986 was "Starman" (the TV show based on the movie). It starred Robert Hayes and C.D. Barnes. The teenage boy (conceived in the movie) had a dad who was an alien. The dad was a drifter but took care of his son, and they kept looking for his mother, Jenny Hayden. I have every episode on tape.
