I am helping a 1st grade, spanish speaking, boy to learn english. The problem is that I only know a little of spanish. I am only helping him with the words that I DO know. --colors, numbers etc... I also need to know how to say "Top & Bottom". When he writes his name - he doesn't write the letters from the top of the line to the bottom of the line. I think if I could tell him top to bottom he might understand it better. Can anyone help me?

In that context, "Say it with me" = Repite conmigo = Ahora dilo junto conmigo = Repite "this word" = Ahora intentalo conmigo = Ahora pronuncialo tu = Ahora dilo tu = Ahora repitelo tu = Practica conmigo = Repitelo conmigo = Repitelo como yo lo digo = Dilo de nuevo = Intentalo de nuevo junto conmigo.
"Top to Bottom" = De arriba hacia abajo = Inicia arriba y continua hacia abajo = De la parte superior hacia la inferior = De la linea superior a la inferior.
I can send you audio recorded in Spanish as examples, just to have an idea of how you can say it in Spanish. Thank you for teaching a foreign language, it requires a lot of patience.

Say it with me: Dilo conmigo (dee-low cone-mee-go)
Or Repeat it with me: repítelo conmigo (ray-pete-ay-low cone-mee-go).

Write the letter from the bottom of the line to the top: Escribe la letra desde abajo hasta arriba. (ay-sreeb-ay la lay-trah days-day ah-bah-hoe ah-stah ah-ree-bah). To elaborate... like you want him to fill in the whole space: Llena el espacio (yay-nah el ay-spa-see-oh).

You say "dígalon conmigo", but usually teachers say "repítan conmigo".
