The liberals require everyone to kow-tow to this group of immigrants especially, because their numbers are so big and that translates into more Democratic votes.
Spanish is forced down our throats on packages of anything we buy. We are constantly being given a choice of Spanish or English even when we call our own government offices ! If a group of Mexicans ask for something, the Dems jump to give it to them so they can add another group of people to their voting base.
Whoever heard of Cinquo-de-Mayo before 5 years ago? How many hospitals are going bankrupt on the border because of free medical care being given to people who do not have health insurance, nor any way to pay, yet intentionally cross the border for good American care at Americans' expense? The ACLU even wants to sue the American and Arizona governments because several illegals from Mexico tried to cross the desert into this country without water and died !!! Since Arizona does not have water taps and faucets every few feet throughout the desert, the ACLU said they were negilgent and contributed to these peoples' deaths.
Legals and illegals here, write home, tell families how the Americans give them everything they want or need AND they can sue people if it is not given to them.
No wonder we have an immigration crisis.
Until we, as a people, unite behind this one issue at least, and until the Liberals are finally put out of power in Congress AND THE MEDIA, we will not see any change.

Little confused here - correct me if I am wrong - but I always thought if you were born in the United States of America you were an American, NOT an immigrant! My father is an immigrant who became a citizen through Ellis Island from Italy. Learned the language busted his butt along with his family to make a better life here! I might have to guess that more than 80% of the people that live here are children of immigrants and I do also believe that the way a person "COMES TO AMERICA" chooses the path of his/her life. If one comes here illegally, that one should learn to deal with the consequences of his/her actions!!

No one is taking over America! My husband is from Mexico and we as couple work together. Also he is one of the most hard working human being that i know not to mention a great father. Your ignorant and i'm so sick of people like you thinking you own this world and everyone should kiss your ***. I've heard a lot about how Latinos take from this country but that's a bunch of bull! Every Latino i know ( and that's a lot) works hard for every thing they have and are some of the most sharing and giving people i have ever known. There's a bunch of though talk on Yahoo but i bet my bottom dollar if you seen me walking on the street with my husband you wouldn't have the nerve to say it to my face.

Any citizen of this country is an American. The melting pot of America includes races and cultures and peoples from just about every country in the world, and by the way, all of us are immigrants, except the American Indians and some Hispanic people that were here already. I am not Hispanic, but yes, they are becoming the majority. There is nothing wrong with it. It's just how it is. If it really bothers you that much, perhaps you can trace your roots to your country of origin and return. Not to be mean, just blatantly honest.

Excuse me? No one caters to us. Hispanics may be the largest growing ethnic group in America, but it depends on what part of the country you live in. Here in the Southwest, the majority of people are Hispanics and African Americans. And yes, advertisers aim their products and services to us. But I'm sure that businesses offer the same thing to Italians,Irish,German ,Hungarian ,and so many other peoples .

Look,
You all have been fed a load.
A SUNY-Albany study shows that by the third generation, 85% of children of immigrants no longer speak their original language.
People do assimilate. But it takes more than one generation for it to happen.
But, no one wants to read scientific studies or have patience, because we want the way we want it and we want it that way right now!
Build a fence and then everyone will speak perfect English! Pass a law and all of the sudden all the immigrants will go away! If you're so worried about immigration and the English language, why don't you try using it properly by capitalizing the name of your nation.
They only represent 12-13% of Americans, so stop freaking out and behave like an adult.

If you watched 360 last night, with Anderson cooper, you would find out what is going on, the Americans that use to work factory jobs and raised their families on that jobs, their children do not want to work in factories. they pay twice the minimum wage so about 10 an hr. but the young adults don't want those jobs, and Americans don't raise their kids to be crop pickers either, so that is why, the word got out among the illegals that their was a lot of work in factories in the south like Georgia, so a lot went their, I thought also it was just agriculture that needed illegals but it's not, the illegals are leaving the fields and going for indoor jobs even low paying ones, they don't want to work the fields either, so now their is a shortage of workers for the fields, even the unions that hirer illegals for the fields can not find them, and with the crack down on the border, fewer field workers are getting in.

Without Hispanics the US economy would be in shambles, we wouldn't have enough workers to keep the economy going, we wouldn't be able to compete with China or India, you would probably lose your job, your kids wouldn't go to college, and you'd be miserable for the rest of your life.
