anybody else get annoyed by him my dad can't stand him i think it is soo funny lol isn't it funny how we used to watch crazy shows like that and now we think they are stupid and corny isn't it crazy that little kids don't really know what they are watching?

Barney is the biggest piece of purple crap I have seen. What bothers me more is the grown guy off of Blues Clues, and why is he dancing around with a stuffed dog and small children? Oh and what ever happened to the Tele Tubbies....tubbies, how awful. I personally think there were better cartoons and young programming when I was a child (80's)...Sesame Street, Mr. Rogers (he was weird) and all the good cartoons...none of this anime crap.
Anywho.....good topic. Long live Looney Toons and Ducktales!

LOL... I also can't stand it... So I think I am on your father's side... Yeah, when we were little we'd just watched some kinda stupid shows without ever knowing whether it is good or bad or funny or stupid or crap or unacceptable or whatever... & FYI, I also hate Teletubbies...

yeah it was annoying...but it is amazing how lil' kids get drawn into these type of shows.
we know it's corny, but at least it's teaching our kids some values and good judgement in a way that is comprehensive to them...

I have a home daycare and we begin and end everyday with Barney in Concert !!! My kids are grown and they watched him when they were young too.....He's good stuff when you're two !!! I buy up the videos when I see them at rummage sales !!

Yes he gets on my nerves. He is such a pain. Glad he is so happy go lucky and Thank goodness for remote controls, off it goes.

Yuep. It's like certain cartoons actually have like sex messages in them. I forget what it's called when they have that, but they are basically like hidden msg's in the most innocent commercial/cartoon etc. I heard that Disney movies have these in them

they know what they are watching. while i agree with you some kids shows are very annoying but they are on to entertain and teach KIDS. maybe thats why they like them.
