Yep. She's even got an entire chapter titled after her. She's not quite as important a role as she was in the play [I assume that's your first reference.] The last sentences in her chapter are so sadly spectacular: " ' And Marius, I think I might have loved you a bit.' She tried to smile again. And then she died."
Or something close to that, anyway.

Go to the site listed here, it talks about what happens to her in the book and the play. From what I can tell yes it does mention her as a grownup in the book.
